Amie Myrick

Amie Myrick has been involved in trauma research for the past ten years. As a part of the TOP DD study, she has presented study data at international conferences and has been the lead author on published articles considering the role of age and stress in treatment outcome for dissociative patients.

In addition to her research experience, Ms. Myrick is a licensed clinical professional counselor in Maryland. She specializes in treating children, adolescents and adults for anxiety, mood and trauma-related disorders. In addition to being a clinician in a private practice, she is a therapist in a trauma treatment program at a nonprofit organization, Family & Children's Services of Central Maryland. She received her undergraduate degree from Towson University and completed her graduate training at Johns Hopkins University.
